The SFI 24.1 rating was established to set uniform test procedures and minimum

standards for evaluating youth full face helmets used in competitive motorsports.

This includes being manufactured with a smaller shell in comparison to adult helmets

making them lighter weight, a better fit, and the better protection for young drivers .
